Words from God through a friend

Words that were much needed from a friend, this afternoon:

God is faithful, to his promises, to his children. Don't for one second ever think you are forsaken or that He doesn't love you. But, in the face of what might seem like an unending struggle, pray for his will. Pray for his heart to be in yours. Pray for his eyes to see others as he sees them. Pray for and allow His strength to be your strength, his hope to be yours. His life to be yours. His wisdom and patience, to be yours.

I guess you have to get to a place in your heart where nothing else really matters, except to pursue what God has for you. God wants us to be willing to let go and sacrifice everything for him. And to submit to his will and his wisdom … even when we don't understand it. When you're in a broken place, there is only one place to go from that … to be fixed and rebuilt

Philipians 2:13 - "for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose."
