Thanksgiving isn't a day for celebration for everyone in the US. I was talking with some classmates and one of my professors the other day about the Native American's traditional Thanksgiving weekend. Many spend time with their families (in New England, they travel to the Cape Cod area) in mourning. And they are quietly thankful for those who did survive the European settlement.

In our day of thankfulness, it's amazing to have the knowledge of these native tribes who suffered much at the hand of many of our ancestors. And I think it should be something we think about today!
